What results demonstrate that electrons also have wave properties?

In different experiments light will show properties of wave and particle properties. But can particles with mass, such as electrons, show wave properties? Experiments with electron accelerators, which will be explained in the following pages, follow up on this question.

An electron beam gun produces a focused electrom beam. The beam strikes a thin graphite sheet, with graphite having a regular, crystalline lattice structure. The electrons will diffract on this grating and ultimately interfere at the fluorescent screen at the end of the vacuum galss tube. The electrons produce light at their point of impact.
